Beyond Gender
(a work in progress)
Beyond Gender (a work in progress) is a butoh performance that merges structured choreography with spontaneous environmental responses. With musical accompaniment by Tigerland (Armaan Tagore), interwoven with the resonant frequencies of a live guitar and dynamic layering from Ableton Live, the piece transforms the physical space into a site of reflection as the performance explores gender.
