OTHER EXPERIENCE

2022-2025 Technical Production Coordinator at Disney Theatrical Group (Manhattan, New York, United States)

  • Managed a research project for a five-year action plan for the future of Disney Theatrical Group’s touring by hosting bi-weekly meetings, establishing and tracking monthly goals, researching historical touring data, and developing and presenting a deck with the final research 

  • Developed and implemented systems on Excel and Airtable for tracking data of various global productions, including technical issues and resolutions, vendor communications (NDAs, bids, and final deliverables), historical comparisons of past productions, and other technical details

  • Assisted the Director, Technical Production with the bidding process for all shows: create and coordinate bid documentation, schedule and set up bid sessions, communicate with vendors

  • Co-facilitated the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) affinity space (2024-2025), where I co-hosted New York City’s first AAPI mixer at the 7 Hudson building, event managed two May heritage months with weekly events, and participated in volunteering events that supported the NYC AAPI community 

2021-2025 Gateway Co-Coordinator for the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) – (REMOTE)

  • Developed mentorship opportunities for marginalized community members, created and facilitated lesson plans, and coordinated national conference logistics for mentors and mentees within the Gateway Program

  • Managed the mentee application process by reviewing 60+ yearly applicants, formulating a 12-20 person selection committee, and facilitating the selection process via Zoom

  • Collaborated on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) initiatives that impact the USITT Conference and plan the upcoming conference

2021-2022 Assistant Producer at The Moth (Manhattan, New York, United States) 

  • Managed seven city’s markets by building relationships with venue managers, developing new organizational systems to support contractor communication, reviewing and reporting financials, researching new venues, and negotiating contracts with freelancers, venues, and vendors 

  • Supported 400+ productions with email promotion, ticketing and database management, and on-site live event management as a stage manager, lighting designer, and volunteer manager 

  • Produced Moth Mainstages: coordinated travel, maintained communication and a strong relationship with partners, created marketing and promotion material, hired subcontractors and crew, and running rehearsal

  • Created copy and copyedited internal newsletters, communication with patrons, and newly developed resource guides for new hires within The Moth 

 

2020-2021 Accessibility Coordinator at The Mattress Factory Museum (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States) 

  • Strategized with the team of directors on accessibility goals within the organization, developed initiatives cross-departmentally, and established systems based on the feedback of our employees and the public 

  • Managed a $200k grant to increase access to exhibitions, education programs, and building spaces, especially for individuals on the Autism spectrum and with physical disabilities, through Sensory Kits, marketing materials, etc. 

  • Developed learning materials, led monthly professional development on best practices in Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Inclusion (DEAI) for staff, and fostered relationships with accessibility consultants

2021 Art Installer at The Mattress Factory Museum (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States) 

  • Assisted the Exhibitions Manager with the production and installation of museum exhibition components

  • Worked closely with exhibiting artists to bring their ideas to fruition while troubleshooting during the process

  • Provided fabrication, assembly, and carpentry support for exhibit components using a range of materials and tools/equipment

  • Prepared galleries and exhibition spaces, including, but not limited to, wall painting, wall preparation, construction, framing, drywall installation and general light carpentry

 

2021 Workshop Facilitator at Ladders for Leaders NYC, Commonpoint Queens (REMOTE) 

  • Recruited interns by identifying students who closely met the requirements of a position and coordinated interviews with government agencies, corporations, and nonprofits  

  • Developed curriculum for an “Art + Activism” course with the intentions of improving awareness to these two topics and honing critical and creative skills of 14 and 15 year old students through project-based learning 

  • Facilitated virtual workshops and seminars to high school and college students (ages 16-21) related to employment skills, including resume writing and interview preparation

  • Conducted individual and group mock interviews and provided appropriate professional feedback to participants through email and Zoom communication 

2020 Diversity in Arts Leadership (DIAL) National Fellow at Americans for the Arts (REMOTE)

  • Participated in workshops on nonprofit budgets, retrieving and using census data, survey creation and analysis, partnership building, and communication and storytelling for advocacy

  • Worked effectively in a virtual capacity with nine other fellows and engaged in seminars and public lectures with the goal to illuminate, interrupt, and transform conditions that perpetuate racism

  • Established an art collective, the growing art collective, with the mission to ask artists and art practitioners from underrepresented communities questions and provide them a platform to tackle these issues based on their own ideas, knowledge, and lived experiences 

2018-2020 Lead Program Peer Mentor at Arizona State University: Barrett, the Honors College (Tempe, Arizona, United States)

  • Impacted 1,200+ students through the planning of targeted professional/academic and social events, as well as one-on-one mentoring and advising 

  • Managed a $4,000 budget to market and execute 15 professional/academic and social events focused on meeting community needs in collaboration with Community Assistants and various campus groups

  • Led team meetings and professional development discussions; vetted academic, professional, and skill-building events before approval; attended and assessed the quality of approved events 

  • Learned university policies and procedures, requested the necessary permits for events, and executed events in various indoor and outdoor settings around the university’s campus​
