Inspired by "Back to the Future", I decided to recreate Marty McFly's hoverboard.

I found a video tutorial HERE, but I modified it!

First, I drafted the hoverboard in AutoCAD and had it cut on the CNC router with a piece of 1/2" plywood. Next, I cut a 22 degree angle and glued and stapled the back slope of the board. Next, I taped the edges with blue painters tape and spray painted everything pink. I began taping out the designs for the green, white, and yellow line designs.

Taking a plastic plate, I sanded down the edges and spray painted everything black. With a piece of EVA craft foam, I cut out a circle, spray painted it silver, and then Super 77 the material to the plate to create a disk. I hot glued the plates to the bottom of the board and added red gears using EVA craft foam. H
